The Aids Fonds was set up in 1985 and is there for everyone affected by HIV/AIDS and its consequences.
Our mission is ‘Working towards a world without AIDS’. The Aids Fonds is active both within the Netherlands and abroad and works on the principle that people with HIV/AIDS must be involved in the projects we fund.
The Aids Fonds gets its resources from its own fundraising activities and uses them to fund care and assistance for people with HIV, scientific research and projects concerned with education and prevention.
As well as this, the Aids Fonds is committed to making AIDS treatment available in developing countries, to everyone who needs it. Every year awareness and fundraising campaigns are carried out to engage the Dutch public and keep them involved. |
